“Somewhere Over The Spectrum has been nothing short of life-changing for our family! They have helped us, and continue to help us navigate some of the most challenging times and things we have encountered as parents so far. Our biggest regret was being so hesitant to try ABA therapy to begin with. It is true what they say that not all ABA is created equally. Our son has grown so much from his time at Somewhere over the spectrum, and there will never be words to express what this place means to us. They have given our son life skills he will carry with him for the rest of his life, while at the same time being a very neuroaffirming environment, which is extremely important for us! We highly recommend this center if you are exploring ABA for your autistic child."

“Our journey with Somewhere Over The Spectrum started when we were trying to find an alternative to a typical schooling model for our son, Kalvin. We knew that he needed more specialized support than a public or private school setting could give him, and we knew that his therapy and education needed to be tailored to his unique needs. It was also important to us to be an active part in working with his team of teachers and therapists. Over the past 3 years, Somewhere Over the Spectrum has supported us in this endeavor wholeheartedly. The staff has become so much more than just Kalvin’s therapists. They are his cheerleaders, best friends, partners in learning and play, his captivated audience when he has stories to share, and they truly feel like family to us. As his parents, we are so grateful for every moment of collaboration the SOS staff has spent with us, to make sure that we feel comfortable and confident with the support Kal receives. The Bridge Program has been exactly what Kalvin needs in order to feel safe and thrive. With the help of everyone at Somewhere Over the Spectrum, Kal has grown so much in so many areas, including but not limited to emotional regulation, communicating his needs appropriately, advocating for himself, self-care skills, following directions, and communicating with peers. They have fully embraced Kalvin and all of his gifts, while also challenging him to grow into his best self. Kalvin, and our whole family, love being a part of the Somewhere Over the Spectrum community!”

“My son has been at Somewhere Over The Spectrum for just over two years, and I can honestly say it has changed our lives. Every parent wants to give their child the best resources, but it’s often overwhelming to figure out which therapies will be the right fit. Even once you find them, you’re still left constantly advocating for your child. When my son was about to turn five, we found SOS. I still remember my first call with the owners. Christina told me, “Relax, you get to be mom now.” I hadn’t realized until that moment just how many hats I was wearing trying to make sure my son had what he needed to thrive. Even two years later, I think back to the gravity of that statement and how lonely and scary it felt not having a support system before SOS. Since then, there have been countless times when we faced a tough situation and I reached out in a panic—only to hear back the same day from my son’s team with thoughtful options and solutions. They strike a perfect balance of allowing you full control as a parent while also sharing their unmatched expertise. Just six weeks after starting SOS, we saw extended family, and they were astonished at how much progress my son had made in such a short time. The owners have truly created a village. As a mom of a child with special needs, the journey can feel isolating—but through this school, I’ve found not only support for my son but also some of my closest friendships with other parents walking the same path. Somewhere Over the Spectrum has been absolutely life-changing for our family, and I honestly can’t imagine where we’d be without them."

"My son Benny has been attending Somewhere Over The Spectrum since he was just 20 months old. When he first started, I was filled with uncertainty and worry—I didn’t know if he would ever be able to talk or communicate his wants and needs. Today, Benny is a beautiful, thriving five-year-old who loves life and makes sure everyone around him knows it. The little boy I once feared might never say “Mama” can now hold full conversations, express himself, and connect with the world around him. One of our biggest concerns when Benny started was his social development. Thanks to the dedication and thoughtful planning of the team at Somewhere Over the Spectrum, Benny has absolutely thrived in this area. He has made so many meaningful relationships and has learned how to navigate social situations with confidence and joy. Throughout his time in the program, Benny received compassionate, individualized support in every area of development—from potty training and navigating big emotions to learning strategies to calm his body and mind. His BCBAs, Christina and Hannah, have been incredible, and the communication has been nothing short of amazing. I especially want to recognize his Bt’s, who have been with him every single day through both the good days and the hard ones. They have shown consistent professionalism, compassion, and care in every moment. Their ability to support Benny with kindness, patience, and respect has meant the world to our family. They have truly become like a second family to us, and I trust them wholeheartedly with my son’s care. Through parent meetings and consistent, open communication, we worked together as a team to ensure Benny’s needs were always met. As a special education teacher myself, I know how much time, patience, and dedication it takes to support children with diverse needs—and I can say with full confidence that our lives would not be where they are today without the incredible staff at Somewhere Over the Spectrum. Benny truly loved going to school every single day. Watching him walk in with a smile and knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him meant everything to our family. There have been many tears shed as we prepare to say goodbye—not because of sadness, but because we are leaving behind a place that has given us so much. Somewhere Over the Spectrum has changed our lives, and most importantly, it has changed Benny’s. Although he may no longer attend daily, he will always be part of the Somewhere Over the Spectrum family. We are forever, deeply grateful."

"Our time at Somewhere Over The Spectrum has been a gift to our family. From the start, we felt the approach was truly heart-centered and not just focused on checking off goals. Communication was always open and prompt, and whenever we had questions or needed support, we received clear, thoughtful answers right away. Like anywhere, there was some staff turnover, but it was handled with honesty and care. We were always kept in the loop and transitions were managed in a way that helped our son feel supported and secure. Through it all, he made steady, meaningful progress. Additionally, his goals weren't set in isolation. They were shaped together with us. His experiences at home, in the community, and at school were all valued and discussed equally. Our son struggles with emotional regulation, and it was a relief to have a team that supported him in a way that honored his feelings and experience without judgement. They focused on building his toolbox for how to cope with these big feelings, which has been invaluable for him and for us as a family. Having OT right there at SOS, integrated into his regular weekly routine, was also another huge benefit. With our busy schedules, it simply wouldn't have been possible to drive him back and forth to outside appointments. This made all the difference for both his growth and our ability to manage everything. Another thing that stands out is the sense of community. Parents are encouraged to plan and share events. The atmosphere of connection is real, not just talked about. It's lived. Our family will forever be grateful for the care, love, and partnership we experienced at SOS. Our son has flourished, and as parents, we have grown right alongside him."

"Our experience at Somewhere Over The Spectrum has been truly life-changing. Gianna has come such a long way since she first started. She began as a non-verbal child, and now she can read, her speech has improved tremendously, and her social interactions have blossomed. The growth I’ve witnessed has been incredible, and it’s all thanks to the dedication and support of this amazing center. Beyond the progress Gianna made in communication and social skills, SOS also helped us navigate many challenges at home. From potty training and preparing for doctor and dental appointments to managing tantrums, emotional regulation, and now transitioning into kindergarten, they’ve been supportive through it all. They gave me the support and tools I needed as a parent, and it really helped. I’ve always loved how transparent and communicative the center is. The team makes sure parents are informed, involved, and supported. The family activities helped us feel connected and welcomed, and I always felt that Gianna was safe, cared for, and understood. She grew to truly love everyone there—staff and peers. Everyone at SOS has consistently gone above and beyond to support Gianna’s growth. I am so glad I made the decision to enroll her—it’s truly the best decision I’ve made for her. I would highly recommend Somewhere Over the Spectrum to any family looking for a caring center for their child."

"As a parent of a 2-year-old diagnosed with Autism at 18 months, I wasn't sure where to turn to. Thankfully, we found and enrolled our son in Somewhere Over the Spectrum. From touring the school, meeting with the directors, initial evaluations and continued services for our son I can't express enough how grateful we are for SOS. When we started the journey, 6 months ago, our son wasn’t speaking, communicating his needs, pointing, or engaging in play with others often. Fast forward to now and we've seen incredible progress! Our 2 year old boy is not only speaking more, he's initiating communication, mimicking actions, improving in social skills, and LOVES to interact with his peers, therapists, and family. The staff, directors, and his therapists (especially Dani !) are incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and dedicated, creating a warm and nurturing environment with their holistic approach to ABA that feels like family. The second we walked into SOS, I had the gut feeling it was going to be one of the best decisions we've made as parents. We’re truly amazed at the progress our son has made so far and cannot wait to watch him to continue to grow and learn with SOS. We couldn't be more thankful for their hard work, love and dedication to our son's development and our family!"

"Although our time at SOS was short, I was very impressed with the level of care my son received. From the therapists we worked with, to the directors and even the office staff, everyone was very sweet, professional and had my son's best interest at heart. I loved their holistic approach to ABA therapy. The center is very warm and welcoming. My son made so much progress in the year he was at SOS. I can't thank everyone enough!"

"We can not PRAISE SOS enough! Our son has been attending their Early Childhood Autism Program for over a yr now (he is currently 3.5yo). He has leaped and bounded further than we could have EVER expected! He started the program with no expressive language, recognizing his name nor real true social engagement. He is NOW talking in full detailed sentences, engaging in back and forth conversations with his therapists/peers AND reading! He is a completely different little toddler. The Staff/Directors at SOS are kind, patient and supportive with a genuine LOVE for what they are do. We are so grateful they have entered our lives and teaching our son the tools to become his unique self! They are truly part of our FAMILY."

FAMILY OF MYLES
"When Myles was first diagnosed, I was scared and unsure of what the future would look like for him. But from the moment we walked into Somewhere Over the Spectrum, I felt reassured. The kindness, patience, and support from the entire team made all the difference, and I knew Myles was in the right place. We have been with Somewhere Over the Spectrum since they first opened their original location, and it has been incredible to see how much they’ve grown, now expanding to their second location. But even as they’ve grown, their dedication to each child’s success has remained just as strong. We have leaned on them through so many challenges in our daily lives—whether it’s eating, potty training, or helping Myles regulate his emotions. Their support has been constant, and they never make us feel like we’re alone in this journey. They hold monthly meetings to update us on his progress, which has been so helpful in understanding how far he’s come and what we can continue working on at home. Now, as he prepares to transition into 1st grade, they are guiding us through that process as well, ensuring he has the tools he needs to succeed. Since starting, Myles has made incredible progress—his communication, social skills, and daily routines have improved so much, and I see his confidence growing every day. Christina, Alyssa, Courtney, and Hannah have been absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to help Myles thrive. But it’s not just them—the entire staff, from the front desk to every therapist, has been incredibly kind and supportive. Even the other parents have been wonderful, creating a true sense of community that makes this experience even more special. I truly don’t know where we would be without Somewhere Over the Spectrum. Their love, dedication, and expertise have made such a difference in our lives, and I would highly recommend them to any parent looking for a caring, supportive, and effective ABA center."

"When my 4yo was officially diagnosed as autistic and recommended to do ABA, I was weary about following through on ABA due to what I have learned about it from my professional work as an LCSW (therapist). However, I am so happy that we took a chance on this center and reached out to SOS! The staff have been so warm, genuine and supportive ever since my first outreach to them. My daughter has been there just 3 months and she comes home so happy at the end of each day, and her social communication skills have greatly improved! The center’s approach to ABA is not traditional in the sense that the focus of care is not on improving compliance but expanding on the child’s developing skills and still supporting them in being who they are and what they like. The center incorporates montessori methods and scaffolding of child skills is done via child-led and play-based interventions, not reward/punishment systems. I have very much appreciated that the staff hold in mind the child’s inner emotional world while supporting their growth and learning. The physical environment of the center itself is very clean, soothing, and aesthetically pleasing. Staff also communicate with parents through an app and are very responsive to any parent questions or concerns. I am so grateful we found SOS :)"

STACEY
"Amazing, involved, loving, and compassionate directors! Awesome and beautiful facility! Skilled, competent and caring staff! We and our 6 year old twins are members of the SOS community - Somewhere Over the Spectrum is our home away from home! From day one of the intake process, we were met with compassion, support, transparency, communication, and commitment that ensured a seamless transition for our family. Now that our children are daily members of the SOS family, the level and standard of care continues. What I think sets Somewhere Over The Spectrum apart from other facilities is their level of professionalism and experience working with people on the spectrum, the quality of the programs, the calm setting, and the genuine happiness staff and children exhibit. Alyssa and Courtney have built and continue to foster an environment where ALL people feel welcome and safe. As a result, our kids are already generalizing what they learn every day at SOS to our home and out in the community. Our lives have positively changed, and each day brings new opportunities and our understanding of our kids. There will never be thanks enough for creating such a place. Look no further, because Somewhere Over The Spectrum is the ultimate experience for children who are on the Autism Spectrum. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you want to talk or need more information."

“We found Somewhere Over the Spectrum just days after our son’s diagnosis, and it was truly a miracle. From day one, we have felt so supported and seen. In less than a year, our son has made so much growth and progress, and we owe so much of that to the team here. He loves coming to the center every day and being with his friends and therapists. The entire team here is so welcoming and friendly. You can tell every single person who works here is truly passionate about what they do. We could not recommend Somewhere Over the Spectrum more.”

“Somewhere Over the Spectrum is the best place to bring your child. Ever since we walked through the doors, we felt at peace. They truly care for your children. I have no worries because everyone on this team is truly amazing. My little one has been thriving. My child learned more than I expected him to learn. He is starting to talk now, he comes home showing off all the cool things he has made, he repeats his therapist's name, he loves this place! You cannot pick a better place for your little one. Everyone from the front desk and throughout the center is beyond wonderful. Don't second-guess, you will not be disappointed!”
