Abena has been working with children for many years and has a passion for teaching and watching any child grow and reach their full potential. Abena chose to pursue her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis and graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with her degree in 2024. Shortly after, she became certified as a BCBA. Abena’s favorite part of being a BCBA is watching her clients learn and become more confident as they engage with others and the world around them. She also loves connecting with therapists and families as she truly believes it takes a team effort to guide each child. In her free time, you can find Abena outside at the beach or exploring in the woods with her dog, Rosie, on a road trip to visit her closest friends, or at home with her family.
